This grape variety is a recent arrival on the hillsides of Drăgășani. We have selected our best plots   to encourage the vines to root deep into the soil and the result is this beautiful wine
 
50% was aged in French oak barrels (50% new) for 12 months. After bottling, the wine matured a further 12 months in our cellars before release.

This wine has an intense bright ruby colour. This wine has an elegant bouquet of strawberry and cherry fruit and a touch of spice. On the palate, this wine is silky with good acidity. This wine is generous and well balanced, with nicely integrated tannins

To be served very slightly cool at around 16°C, with red meat accompanied by mushroom sauce
