Negru de
Drăgășani, a unique grape variety, has its origins in the Drăgășani region,
where it has been able to express its characteristics at its best. Negru de
Drăgășani was created as a cross between Negru Vârtos and arguably Saperavi or
Băbească Neagră.
The most
recent wine created by AVINCIS Winery has an intense deep purple color. It has
a powerful violet bouquet, with a black cherry and blueberry flavor and a touch
of spices. It has a silky attack on the palate, with an intense cherry flavor
and a subtle hint of fresh pepper.
To be served
at 17°C, with slowly cooked meat in wine sauce.
