Fetească Regală & Pinot Gris

 

This is a unique blend, bringing together a local variety with an international favorite. The two grapes harmonize well in this special wine.

70% of this blend is Fetească Regală out of which 40% was fermented and aged for 6 months in French oak barrels. The remaining volume of 30% was fermented in stainless steel tanks with regular lees stirring.

It is a bright golden hued wine, showing a rich and complex bouquet, with notes of white flowers, dried apricot and a hint of vanilla.
On the palate, this wine is generous, mouth filling and well-structured, with flavors of peach and spiced pear.

To be served lightly chilled, at around 9°C, with chicken in wild mushrooms sauce, grilled salmon and fruit desserts.
