Two medals for Avincis at the Brussels World Wine Competition

This year, the Brussels World Wine Competition confirmed the value of our winery's latest creations: Avincis Orange was awarded a gold medal, and Cuvée Valerius Alutus Primus received a silver medal.

The wines analysis submitted in the competition is done on the criteria of specificity, style and price. Renowned jurors taste with meticulousness and competence to award points to the wines that accurately confirm the characteristics of the varieties, as well as those with highest potential to meet market expectations.

For us, Cuvée Valerius Alutus Primus is part of the mission to promote Romanian wines to the world, this time by saving from extinction traditional grape varieties, such as Alutus. Another dimension of our work is reflected by Avincis Orange, a project that represents the values of our winery: honoring tradition by producing wine from three local varieties and reinterpreting a traditional winemaking technique in amphora.

Over thirty years of experience have established the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles as a reference in international wine competitions. The main objective of this competition is to offer consumers a guarantee of quality and the pleasure of tasting exceptional wines from all corners of the world.

We are happy and honored to receive gold and silver at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and we are confident that consumers will also appreciate our two wines, both with strong and unique personalities on the Romanian market.
