Five Medals for AVINCIS at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2026
The 2026 edition of Decanter World Wine Awards has brought
a new series of international recognitions for AVINCIS wines. Judged by one of
the most demanding panels in the wine world, the competition gathers thousands
of entries from across the world each year and is widely regarded as a
benchmark for both consumers and industry professionals.
This year, five wines from the
AVINCIS portfolio were awarded medals:
·
Negru de Drăgășani 2021 – Gold
·
Crâmpoșie Selecționată
2025 – Silver
·
Alutus Primus 2023 – Silver
·
Cuvée Grandiflora Fetească
Neagră – Merlot – Negru de Drăgășani 2020 – Silver

Sparkling Wine 2021 – Silver
These results highlight both the
distinctive character of Romania’s native grape varieties and their ability to
stand out in a highly competitive international environment. The Gold Medal
awarded to Negru de Drăgășani 2021 is particularly
significant, recognizing the potential of one of Romania’s most representative
indigenous varieties.
The four Silver Medals further
illustrate the diversity of the AVINCIS portfolio - from the freshness and
distinctive character of Crâmpoșie Selecționată, to the
complexity of the Grandiflora blend and the elegance of the
sparkling wine crafted using the traditional method.
The awards received at Decanter
2026 represent international recognition of the dedication and craftsmanship
invested both in the vineyard and in the winery. We are delighted to share this
achievement with everyone who chooses AVINCIS wines and nd is part of their
journey.
