Fetească Regală

Feteasca Regală is one of the best known and searched grape variety in Romania. This variety gives birth to a full-bodied wine, with strong flavours and high ageing potential.

50% of this wine was fermented and aged for 8 months in French oak barrels, with regular lees stirring.

It is a bright golden hued wine.

This wine shows a rich and complex bouquet, with notes of white flowers and dried apricots and a hint of vanilla.

On the palate, this wine is generous, mouth filling and well-structured, with flavors of peach and spiced pear.

We suggest you serve it well chilled, at around 9 °C, with chicken in mushrooms sauce or with truffle risotto.

It goes very well with grilled salmon and all types of poultry.
