Cuvée Grandiflora - Fetească Neagră & Alutus & Negru de Drăgășani

 

Three Romanian varieties carefully selected and blended to obtain a true haute couture wine. Every grape brings its best, to achieve unique elegance and balance. 

The wines forming this blend aged separately in new oak for 15 months. Fetească Neagră, Alutus and Negru de Drăgășani blended in equal parts. 

This wine has an intense ruby color with a rich bouquet of wild berries, dark cherries, chocolate with a hint of violet and spices. The palate is extremely smooth. Fruits and spicy hints meet a remarkable note of toasted oak. Velvety and ripe tannins show a great ageing potential. 

Best served at around 18°C with duck, game, earthy mushrooms, truffle, aged cheese.
