Tasting notes

Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape variety that has been long established in Romania and is proving well matched to the region of Drăgășani, producing wines with grace and elegance from its soil. This wine was aged in French oak barrels (70% new) for 14 months.
This wine has a powerful bouquet of fresh black blackcurrant, with a hint of toasty oak.
On the palate, there is lovely depth of ripe fruits overlaid with a subtle note of dark chocolate. It goes very well with any red meat dish.
