Avincis awarded at Decanter
Avincis Winery was awarded four medals at the prestigiousDecanter World Wine Awards 2025, one of the most iconic competitions in the world.
Cuvée Valerius Alutus Primus 2021obtained the Gold Medal, an exceptional recognition for an emblematic wine, which reflects both the terroir of Drăgășani and the oenological mastery of the winery. Three other wines, Crâmpoșie Selecționata 2024, Negru de Drăgășani 2020 and Avincis Orange 2022 received Silver Medals, consolidating Avincis Winery's position among the top producers in Europe.
The Decanter competition, now in its 22nd edition, is renowned for its absolute rigor, the members of the jury being international experts who evaluate the wines blindly, in a demanding and highly professional setting.
For AVINCIS, each distinction means more than a trophy, it is a reconfirmation that the modern vision can preserve tradition with honor, and Romanian wine is at the table with the best wines of the world.
